Daniel Moore Obituary

Moore, Daniel F.

91, passed away peacefully at home in Tampa, FL on March 26, 2025. Dan was born to Fred and Leona Moore in Franklin, NC. He graduated from Franklin High School, Berea College and Naval OCS in Newport, RI, serving in Hawaii and the Mediterranean. He was employed by Del Monte Corp. before opening Dan Moore Realty in 1979 as a real estate broker and property manager. Dan was an active member of Palma Ceia Methodist Church, Kiwanis Club and Greater Tampa Association of Realtors. He volunteered at Faith Café and the Judeo-Christian Health Clinic. Dan is survived by his loving wife, Leslie Little Moore; son, Daniel Moore (Kathy); and daughter, Leann Moore (Frank Jones); grandsons, Chris and Nate Moore; stepsons, Rob Little (Sandy) and Ben Little (Peyton); step-grandchildren, Gaby, Katie, Caroline and Jack Little, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Margaret and Helen; brother, Charles and first wife, Patricia Pearce Moore, mother of Leann and Daniel. Service will be Monday, April 7, 2025, 1:00pm at Palma Ceia Methodist Church. Interment following in church columbarium, 3723 W. Bay to Bay Blvd., Tampa, FL 33629.
