David and I worked together for many years to promote school health in Hillsborough County and Pinellas County. We had a wonderful collaborative relationship. He was a fine clinician and was dedicated to our mission of providing the best care to students. We collaborated on many policy protocols and he always had my back when any controversies arose. He will be missed by everyone who knew him professionally and personally. He was a true gentleman and the definition of what a physician should be. My sincere condolences to his family. Jonni H. Klapper, M. D.

David and I go back many-many years at St, Joseph School in West Tampa-Jesuit HI School and he was the Dr. that treated at least on of our children, many years ago. As we planned to get together he was taken from us, we will miss him!

Dr. Cimino was my children´s pediatrician in Tampa in the 1980s. He was such a wonderful doctor and put up with and calmed all the fears of a first time Mom. I will always remember him with honor for his excellent care and sweet spirit. My condolences to his family.

My sorrows to the Cimino family. I enjoyed working with David when he was in private practice. He was a caring physician and basically a nice person. He was the epitome of a pediatrician.

I first met Dr. Cimino when I started my internship on the pediatrics rotation at Tampa General Hospital in 1974. He was one of the kindest and most caring men I have ever met. After the birth of both of my children he served as their pediatrician. Over the years I referred him many patients, and I was privileged to inteact with him at Women's Hospital in Tampa. He was truly a fine doctor and human being, and it was my privilege to call him friend.

It was an honor to know and work with David Cimino. In my 35 years working in Pinellas County Schools for the health, safety, and welfare of all students, no one came close to matching his wisdom and compassion for all kids.
