I met Duncan on nieuw amsterdam November 1994,he was solo pianist in the crows nest,I was keyboard player in the showband,we were good friends and kept in touch after being on the cruiseship,he even visited me once in hull in 1998 and we had a trip to blackpool one night to watch a joe longthorne concert,I'm extremely saddened to hear about his passing,I will always remember him as a good friend and a lovely man,my condolences to april who he met while on the nieuw amsterdam.

Duncan provided so many hours of joy to our Society. I always looked forward to seeing and hearing him at the Scottish American Society functions. Duncan was so talented. His passing is a sad day for so many.
