Elmo WELLS Obituary

WELLS, Elmo Gene, 72, of Sebring, Fla., died July 22, 2010. Elmo was born in

Mt. Erie, Ill., January 21, 1938. He was the son of the late Fred Wells and Ella Van Fossan Wells. He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Hunt Wells; and his children, Jett and Kathy Wells, Danville, Ind., Neil and Jill Huffman, Canby, Ore., Barbara and Eric Birk Sellersburg, Ind., and Scott and Ann Wells, Brownsburg, Ind. He left eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Elmo worked for Trunkline Gas Company & Panhandle Eastern Pipeline for 36 years. He also worked as a corrosion engineer, as an independent consultant service, for the past 12 years. He was respected and revered by those who knew him. He was an avid sports fan. He loved fishing with his family and friends. He was proud of his family. Service arrangements and condolences will be conducted at the Hughey Funeral Home, 1314 Main Street, Mt. Vernon, Ill.
