I am an usher at the 6pm mass that Emil regularly attended and helped at. He started out as an usher and helped me many times. Later, he became a Eucharistic minister and still would help when me when he could. We would chat a little bit after Mass from time to time and I knew him to be a good guy who was always willing to help and would stay later to help out in the church with gathering bulletins that people left in the pews as well as other things. Emil was a good man who will be missed and may he be at peace in paradise Thank you Emil- thank you for your service and may God bless you
Condolences and prayers of strength and healing to his family and friends

I knew Emil from church where he served in many roles. He would arrive early, save his special spot and then seem to immerse himself into what appeared to be deep prayer. Once he completed his prayful preparation he would then proceed to his duties of usher, greeter and later Eucharistic Minister. He would take great care before and after Mass to check all the pews to make sure that everything was neat, clean and in order. Always doing his best to serve!
