Florence PALMER Obituary

PALMER, Florence E. 98, of Sun City Center, passed away on Aug. 15, 2013. She was born in Dracut (Lowell), MA to Willard and Agnes McCallum. As a child, she and her family moved to South Bend, IN, and then to West Paterson, NJ, where she met and married the love of her life, Harry Palmer, deceased. She is survived by their two children, Betty Moore of Sun City Center and Harry Palmer Jr. of Sun City Center and Callicoon, NY; her beloved sister, Lillian Brandes 100 years old of Bangor, ME; three nephews; one daughter-in-law, many loving grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Florence was a loving mom and homemaker, a devout born-again Christian and lifetime member of the Church of the Nazarene. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Aug. 20th, 6-8 pm at National Cremation and Burial Society, 308 E. College Ave. Ruskin, FL 33570. A funeral service will be held on the following day, Aug. 21st, 10 am at Hillsborough Memorial Gardens, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, in the mausoleum chapel, followed by a light luncheon at National Cremation and Burial Society in Ruskin 813-645-3231 www.nationalcremation.com
