I went looking for Helga online last week to wish her a Happy Birthday, and instead, I found this death notice. Helga and I roomed together for 3 years at Frostburg State, and went to Europe together for 8 weeks the summer before our senior year. We lost touch over the miles and years but we connected briefly for a few phone catch ups after I retired. She was a great college roomie, spoke fluent French and German and had a wicked sense of humor. She is definitely gone too soon. My deepest sympathies to Rudy and Harold.

I knew Helga at Frostburg State College. She was a talented student of foreign languages and an excellent singer. I was saddened to hear of her death.
