MELENDEZ, Isabel

20, of Tampa, Florida, passed away unexpectedly October 20, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 3-5 pm, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, Inc. and cremation will follow. Ms. Melendez was a native of Florida and a resident of Tampa for six years. Isabel attended Henry B. Plant High School and the University of South Florida. She was employed at Redlands Grill aka J. Alexander's.

Isabel now leaves to cherish in her memory, father, Rodney Melendez and mother, Jeanne Malara (Ivan Lenoir); her sisters, Bianca and Jenna Melendez and Haleigh Lenoir; her grandparents, Charles and Nancy Malara, Florence and Paul McDermott, and Elga Melendez; finally, her beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. She also leaves behind her two cats, Olive and Suki.

Isabel was a child of the Universe. She was a free-spirited, old soul. She was full of life and laughter. When she smiled, it was as if the world around her stopped; her radiant smile was unlike any other and would illuminate the room. Her presence was a gift, as she loved to be with friends and family, a place she could call home. Although she could find comfort with those she loved, nature was where she felt at peace. Whether it was laying at the beach, taking pictures of her surroundings, or taking long walks, Isabel was always at home. Now as she lays at rest, her energy will be with us all forever.
