James Nault Obituary

NAULT, James P.

age 82, of Tampa, FL passed away, after a brave struggle with cancer, Wednesday January 9, 2019. Jim was born April 25, 1936 in Ishpeming, MI to Henry and Eva (Perrault) Nault. He attended St. Lawrence Seminary and soon after, he joined the Army. Jim served for two years and then enrolled at St. Norbert College where he graduated with honors. Jim and Mary were married at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Green Bay, WI September 5, 1959. He started his business career with Employers Mutual of Wausau, WI. Jim excelled in marketing and management and with skill and determination he capped off his career as President and CEO of Great Western Sugar in Denver, CO. He was an active member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Temple Terrace, FL, serving as a lector and on various committees. He was also a loyal member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as a fourth degree Knight and Faithful Navigator. Jim and Mary enjoyed spending summers in Green Bay, WI. Jim's family was very important to him and he was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary; his five children, James "Jay" Nault (Laura Rhoades), Robert Nault (Elisa), Jessica Krauser (Mathew), Monica Nabholz (Baird), and Martha Schuham (Richard); and his twelve grandchildren, Mathew Krauser, Julia, Sara and Charlie Schuham, Jack and Janie Nabholz, Joshua and Kathryn Nault, James and Savannah Nault, and Tyler Nault, his fiance, Allison Schaefer and her daughter, Natalia Ramos. With less than three weeks to live, and his health severely declining, Jim and Mary boarded a plane bound for Turks and Caicos for a vacation with all of the above family members. For Jim, it was the highlight of his final days. It was a get-together that we will never forget and we will cherish those memories for the rest of our lives. A visitation for Jim will be held Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N. 56th St., Temple Terrace, FL 33617. The Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11 am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9715 N. 56th Street, Temple Terrace, FL 33617. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Jim's memory to Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
