Janet ROSENBERG Obituary

ROSENBERG, Janet Judy 75, passed away on June 11, 2013. Mrs. Rosenberg, formerly from Brooklyn, NY, moved to Boca Raton in 1990 and came to the Tampa Bay area in 2006. She worked as a social worker at her own private practice in New York in mental health for many years. Mrs. Rosenberg was an avid painter and enjoyed swimming, tennis and spending time with her family. Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Robert and Larri Rosenberg, of Riverview, Michael and Nancy Rosenberg of Long Island, NY; daughter & son-in-law, Elisabeth and Bob Vincze; sister, & brother-in-law, Ann and Jeff Gerhman; brother & sister-in-law, Jon & Jenny Rascoff; and five grandchildren, Ben, David, Melissa, Ari and Noah. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hillel Academy of Tampa and/or the USF Health Byrd Alzheimer's Institute ATTN: Holly Lisle, at 4001 E. Fletcher Avenue, Tampa, FL 33613. Graveside servcies will be Friday, June 14th, 10 am at the New Rodeph Sholom Cemetery, 4210 N. 56th St., Tampa, FL 33610, with Rabbi Marc Sack officiating. Condolences may be expressed online at: www.segalfuneralhome.com.
