Jason Colbath Obituary

COLBATH, Jason Eugene 84, of Palm Harbor, died June 4, 2010. Born in Adrian, MI, "Jack" graduated from the University of Michigan. He retired from a Marketing career and the U.S. Postal Service. He was an Army Air Force veteran of WWII serving in the EAME Theater. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medal. He was a member of the American Legion Post #273, DAV, VFW. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Isabelle; two sons, Graham (Patti) and Edward (Judy); a daughter, Jane (Richard) Saunders; a brother, David (Rita); four step-daughters, Cheryl Vignali, Patricia Marchand, Deborah Manz, and Jacqueline Hesse; 9 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren. He will be missed by all. Graveside services with honors will be at 12:30 pm on Friday, July 2, 2010 at Bay Pines National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, 33760.
