I am so sorry. I pray that GOD would be your comfort during this time and the adjustments that are to come. I pray that each of you would talk to GOD about how you feel: that you would give GOD your questions, your anger, your grief, your confustion, and your desire for direction. I can offer you words of comfort but only GOD will see you through what is ahead. May you never stop praying to GOD no matter how you feel.

To the Dampier Family,
When we learned of this tragedy, our hearts were filled with such sadness. I will keep you all in my prayers at this time I know the days may not seem as bright but know that there will come a time when it won’t be so dark and you will be able to smile. I have missed you all, growing up on Ohio was a great place to be because everyone was willing to help in some way and that is why losing Jeff is so difficult for us all because he was the epitome of that later statement. From my husband (Johnny Jr.)and my self you have our deepest sympathy and from my parents Sammie & Annie Hightower - they are praying for the entire family and their hope is one day you will be able to find peace.

This is Jadene, I cannot began, to say how deeply hurt I am over the lost of Lil’ Jeff my childhood friend & next-door neighbor. I am just totally, speechless of the hurt that the family has to experience at this time. I can remember only happy times we shared when we were kids. How we use to play-ball all the time and how he would pick me to be on his team. How we shared many conversations on the porch, hoping for only the best for each other. Now it’s time for me to say goodbye to my next-door neighbor. I will always love the Dampier family and my prayers will continue to be with you all, as you grieve this huge lost.
