Such a beautiful, kind, wonderful woman. She was planning to visit my mother at my home and I wish we could have had that time. I am so thankful to have had recent conversations with her. I am privileged to have known her. She was always so sweet to me as I am sure she was to everyone. I had a scary moment once when I fell ill from heat stroke during Driver's Ed at Brandon High. Joan brought me into her office, had me lay down, gave me water, called my mom, and waited with me until she came. Although she was the secretary, I was her neighbor and she insisted that she would take care of me. I am sure there are many people who have a story about a time that Joan helped them.
May the Lord bless you and keep you Joan.
Wayne, Mark, and Michelle, I am sorry for your loss.
