John CUCCIO Obituary
88, died March 18, 2017 in New Port Richey, FL. He was born in Brooklyn, NY November 23, 1928. Funeral services are 4-7 pm, Wednesday, March 22 at Dobies Funeral Home on Congress Avenue, and 10 am, Thursday at St. James Catholic Church.
A World War II Veteran, John Cuccio served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1945 until he was discharged as Staff Sergeant in 1948. In 1994, he retired from Cuccio's Bakery in Brooklyn, NY.
John was predeceased by his parents, Gaetano and Santina Cuccio and his wife, Gloria Schirripa Cuccio. He is survived by two daughters, Santine Cuccio of Marianna, FL and Karen (Paul) Davis of New Port Richey, FL; three grandchildren, Philip (Carole) Davis of Paris, France; Christopher and Timothy-John Davis of New Port Richey, and great-grandchildren, Edward and Martin Davis.
In 2003, John settled in New Port Richey, where he was a member of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church. He enjoyed long walks and conversing with members of the community. John was a member of the American Legion.

When they die, their Honor Clean, they appear before Heavens Gate, and see two signs, Eternal Peace, and "Marines"...
Below the sign Marines, is a path..
The Marine follows the path up a hill to a Quonset Hut, knocks Three Times and enters..
Inside he is greeted by Two Marines, Colonel Lewis B. Puller and Sergeant Major Dan Daly...
The SgtMaj. hands the Marine a Quill Pen with which he signs his name to The Duty Roster, after which his Heavenly Robes Fade, replaced by Standard Marine Corps Issue..
The Marine Smiles and does a Right Face out the Hatch to The Yellow Footprints to Muster as The USMC Old Glory Platoon...
The Marines Orders are clear, to fight The forces of Evil for all Eternity, under the Command of the Ultimate Commander-In-Chief, GOD ALMIGHTY...
"By The Grace Of God,

It's Good To Be Home"...
