Dear Pam & family,

We loved "Pops" as if he was our own father. Thank you for sharing him with us and for the memories we have of him at our sorority gatherings. He was fortunate to have you as a daughter.

My Dad was telling a story just the other day about the good friends he had when he was a young man. Your Dad, he said, was his first best friend.

Several years ago, when my Father was vacationing in FLA he "looked-up" your Dad. As my Father approached Joe's house, he saw him outside in the yard. My Father got out of his car and walked up to your Father. He said "hello Joe" and your Father replied "Hi Eddie".... I guess years do not mean much when someone has been important in your life.

I know that your Father must have been a wonderful man and I do hope the memories you have of him will bring you comfort in the coming days.

Blessings to you all.

Dear Pam and family,
We were so sorry to read about "Uncle" Joe. He and "Aunt" Helen were so special to our family. Mom and Dad really enjoyed all their visits. How lucky you were to have him for so many years. He was really quite a guy. We still laugh at driving all around St. Petersburg with him to find the McDonald's that had free coffee for seniors. May the beautiful memories that fill your heart help to bring you comfort. God bless.
