What can I say, Joe was my neighbor & best friend for the past 4 years, I loved the guy & I know he felt the same way about me. As I said
"We lived next door to each other" & every day Joe would call me or come over to see if I was ok, & on other days I would do the same for him, Joe was one in a million, I could search the world over & never find a friend like him. If anyone needed anything ? He would be the first one there. On the outside Joe was a tough guy, but once you took the time to know him, you would find out he was a sweet, gentle man, When talking to him all you had to do was start a conversation about the NAVY, he loved to talk about the ship he was on (TheUSS Saratoga) he was so proud that he was able to serve for 3 years.
I look over the back fence & I can still see him & LeeAnn sitting there & when he turned around & spotted me he would say"Ray want a beer ?" I will miss him as long as I live, but I know one day we will meet again, & I also know the the first thing he'll say when seems me will be
"Hi Pal, what took ya so long ?"
I love ya Joe, God Bless ya Pal.
