Dear Millie, Bill & Chris,
Our friendship has lasted 50+ years. When we first met Julian, we saw a gentleman who was very proud of his community, and during all the years since, he has demonstrated being a great community leader contributing so much of his time and talents. He has been a professional throughout, enhancing the quality of life on Treasure Island and the Pinellas County Beaches.
Julian was a true gentleman, and we have great respect for him as do untold others. We called him
"Mr. Treasure Island" and loved him dearly.

Julian is not my friend, my neighbor,fellow firefighter the Fant´s Have always been like Extended family . Julian was a wonderful man. May God rest his soul ,Scottie

Julian was my father in law. Always a gentleman, he was also an amazing man. He was elected 5 times for the position of mayor of Treasure Island and 8 years for a total of 16 years as a commissioner. He was also a hero. He was recognized for his water rescue by receiving a Carnegie medal for bravery. He was a volunteer firefighter, a master at growing roses, fishing , and could grill up a fabulous london broil. His stories of old time florida were fascinating. He was a great storyteller. He now joins my husband, Charlie in this next chapter. He leaves behind his grieving wife of 73 years, a daughter, and a son. 2 grandaughters and 3 great grandchildren. Sympathy to everyone who knew this wonderful man and called him family and friend.. He will be missed.
