Marc LUNSFORD Obituary

LUNSFORD, Marc Clayborne 53, Seminole, joined our Father in heaven, Feb. 12, 2014. Born in Rox-boro, NC, he graduated from Person High School. He attained a BA in Management and Ethics from John Wesley College, High Point, NC where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Marc proudly served in the U.S Army in Fort Riley, KS and attended Spartan College of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK before embarking on his aviation career in Texas, Colorado, North Carolina and in 2000 to Florida. His favorite aviation position was Sr. Field Support Engineer for Boeing's 787 Dreamliner. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest "Medford" Lunsford. He is survived by his mother, Julia "Frances" Clayborne Lunsford, North Carolina; sister, Stacey Leigh Lunsford Prillaman, Arizona; daughters, Morgan Shaye Lunsford and Robyn Skye Lunsford, Tarpon Springs; nephew, Matthew Edward Prillaman, New York; niece, Margrette "Maggie" Leigh Prillaman, Jupiter; plus his extended family. There will be a memorial service held Friday, March 14, at Generations Christian Church, 1540 Little Rd., Trinity at 11 am before he is laid to rest at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, St. Petersburg at 2:15 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Generations Christian Church (727) 375-8801 x2237.
