Mel was a wonderful neighbor, kind , funny and had really good parties. We lost touch after moving to Oriental, NC but still have the memories of our talking of the days events over the fence. He really loved his pool and took care of it every morning. Bless him and Priscilla and family.

Mel was one of the first neighbors I met when I moved to Broadwater in 2000. He always had a smile, a great laugh, and an interesting story to share. He will certainly be missed and I'll always have fond memories of him.
