I remember when I was little, my dad alway made it a point to come visit you. He would always say "this is your Great-Grandma". When you're a kid you really don't realize how significant it is to be a GREAT. I look at my lil ones and think to myself will I raise them right? Will I give them all they need to make it in life? Grandma, You not only, have seen your kids make it, but you've seen your children's children, and their children's children make it in this life and that's amazing....I know you will Rest in Peace.

love you Great-Grandma

Ms.Oveter was the name I knew you by. As a little girl and later as a young lady, my mom would often take me by to visit you. I remember how you would just chuckle and say "20/20(my mom's nickname),that child know she look like Happy"! Once I moved away, I didn't visit as often as I should have, but I know I'll see you again one day. Rest now Ms. Oveter, and tell my aunt my father-Happy and my aunt Lois I said hello. Love your grand-daughter, Sherrice

11 yrs ago, I met the nucleus of the strength & humor of the family. In the short time I spent with you, it was enough for me to love you forever!! I know you look beautiful in your long white robe, I'm sure you are singing in the heavenly choir, and b/c God has a sense of humor, I know your bringing a smile to his face! Enjoy Glory grandma!!

Dear Grandma, I prayed that this day would never come and it has arrived. I am so thankful that God allowed you to be my grandmother. You were the best ever! You taught us well, and especially how we ought to behave in your absence. Please rest knowing that your family is closer and more united than ever before. I am going to miss you so much. Remember this: (((singing))) I love you forever, I will like you for always, as long as I’m living, my grandma you’ll be. Night Grammy!
