Pamela Temples Obituary

Temples, Pamela Reames

76, of Charleston, SC was called home to Heaven on Thursday, April 17, 2025. Her life was joyful with an ever-present smile that lit up a room, and she always had a kind word for everyone.

Pam graduated from Brookland Cayce High School in 1967 and later from the University of South Carolina in 1971. Her college major and passion was Interior Design.

Pam opened her own interior design business, which ultimately became the largest in South Carolina. She moved to Orlando, Florida and started a second interior design company after selling her original business.

Pam's original focus was on commercial design, but she later focused on resorts and timeshare properties worldwide. She collaborated with some of the top executives in these industries. Her skills were in demand globally - from Asia to Europe and throughout the Caribbean - as well as within the United States. Pam and her team won dozens of design awards from the American Resort Development Association (ARDA).

Pam was happiest when she was around family and making cherished family memories. She loved football, especially when the Gamecocks were playing. Pam also loved to travel and made many excursions around the globe. She loved experiencing different cultures, the adventure of travel, and always sought out the best restaurants.

Pam's life was marked by energy, love, compassion, a sense of adventure and challenge, and an unwavering faith in God. Her profound impact on the lives of so many is a gift to be treasured, and her bright light will always be in the hearts of those she loved.

Pam is predeceased by her father and mother, Marvin Clifton Reames and Margaret Berry Reames. She is survived by her loving husband, Jack Padgett, and her two sisters, Felecia Boyd and Rhonda Hills. Also surviving are her daughters, Dawn (Bruce) Beck and Melisa Temples, and her three stepchildren, Kimberly (David) Barron, Nick (Patricia) Padgett and Michael (Chelseanne) Padgett. Pam is also survived by six grandchildren who affectionately all call her Mimi, and was to be a great-grandmother in the near future.
