Paul WINTERS Obituary

WINTERS, Dr. Paul Regan 67, passed away May 25, 2014 in his home in Temple Terrace, FL. Dr. Winters was born in Brooklyn, NY but shortly moved to Coral Gables, FL, where he grew up. Paul moved to Tampa in 1971, where he started practicing neurological medicine for the past 43 years. Being a neurologist was his first love in life. Dr. Winters completed his undergrad study at Duke University, medical school at the University of Florida, and then his residency at the University of Texas in Dallas. Paul is survived by his wife, Marian Winters, of almost 43 years in marriage; his daughters, Lara (Marc) Katzin and Megan (Theodore III) Carson; his son, Alan (Chaya) Winters; three grandchildren, Matthew Katzin, Caroline Katzin, and Theodore "Teddy" Carson IV; and his brother, Robert Winters. Paul loved anything that involved being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, snow skiing, and was an avid photographer. Paul adored his family dearly. A funeral service will be held 10 am on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Congregation Schaarei Zedek, 3303 West Swann Avenue, Tampa 33609. Online condolences may be expressed at SegalFuneralHome.com.
