Phyllis and I go way back to our childhood neighborhood. I've known Phyllis since 1959. We rode our bikes on the street, hers was a 3 speed, mine a 26" Western Flyer. We roasted marsh mellows on New Year's Eve night at the neighborhood bon fire. We climbed the giant oak trees in my backyard. We went on Easter egg hunts in the neighbors yard. I sat and watched her during her ballet classes and wondered how she could stand the torture! She tried earnestly to get me to join with her. I enclosed a picture my dad took of us neighborhood kids from Easter Sunday 1960. Phyllis is the 3rd kid from the left on the bottom row. So long for Phyllis. RIP my old friend.
