Rachel Martin

MARTIN, Rachel Marie, 20, of Sebring, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2004. She was born April 16, 1984, to Lawrence John and Mary Sue (Ames) Martin in West Palm Beach, Florida. She had been a resident of Sebring since 1992, coming from Coconut Creek, Florida. She was a student at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, was to be a prayer leader at her dorm at Liberty, was very active in church and working with the Youth (Middle School) kids. She attended Highlands Community Church in Sebring. She is survived by her parents, Rev. Larry and Mary Sue Martin, of Sebring; brothers, Joshua Martin, Sebring; and Rusty (and Amber) Martin, Ocala, Florida; and paternal grandmother, June Martin of Okeechobee, Florida. Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 3, 2004, at 4:00 p.m. at Highlands Community Church at Hill-Gustat Middle School, Sebring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Highlands Community Church for the Kenya Children's Fund, c/o 1723 Homestead St, Sebring, Florida 33870.
