I can't believe it's been 14 years since Bob left us!
I wish we could chat again and laugh at what an old grandmere I've become.
Fifty-six was far too young for him to go.
Thinking fondly of Barbara and his son today, as I often do.
And I'm sure that Irene would love it that I am called Grandmere by my little grands!

Thank you to all who have expressed condolences for the passing of my brother, Bobby. His life was cut short - just when he was settling into a happy and comfortable place in his life. But he did live a full life, he had many adventures and did things his way! I just wish I had more time with him - we had only become close in the past few months of his life. For that I will be grateful. Life is precious - we should cherrish every moment.

Way, way, back in the day, Bobby shared his love of the water and fishing with me. I remember how we'd go fishing and he'd throw his cast net, pulling huge amounts of fish up. I was amazed. He taught me the term "flat" as he would describe the still waters. When the Skyway bridge fell, we rushed out on his boat to catch a look. I haven't seen Bobby in years, but he instilled the love I have for the water and nature. Rest In Peace Bobby.

My condolences to the Antz family. Bob will be remembered fondly. When I knew him he was a kind and fun person to be with, he really loved being on the water! Lisa Edwards Kowenski

Bob was my first love and I will always remember him as big, strong, and handsome. He was just as good-looking inside as he was outside. Always fun and easy-going, quick to laugh, and slow to anger. If only the world had more people like Bob in it!
He was so big and strong that when he skied behind our boat, he would jerk the whole thing out of the water when he jumped the wake!
He was a golden boy of the Gulf and I wish him an eternity of beautiful freedom riding the sparkling waves.
My prayers are with all his loved ones, especially his mother, dear sister Barbara, and son Matthew.

Bob, was my big sister's first love. He spent lots of time at our house over the years. He was so handsome, I had a 13 year old's crush on him. I remember I baked a cake because I wanted to impress him. I carried it on a plate with one hand over to where Jemille and Bob were sitting and I tripped and dropped it all over the floor. He never made fun of me which would have been so easy for an older boy to do.
I always thought he had a very kind heart. His sister Barbara and I were classmates and she was as beautiful and kind as her older brother. I am so saddened for his family that they lost him at such a young age. Please know that there are many of us who support you in your time of sorrow.
Love,

May Bob rest in Peace. I had many a great trip on the water with Bob, He and I used to go waterskiing and fishing together. Bob loved the water and was one of the best fisherman that I ever knew. He will be missed.
