Robert Geddes Obituary

GEDDES, Robert A., 80, of Zephyrhills died Saturday, July 17, 2004, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Robert A. Geddes and Edna Hennig Geddes. Jerry Geddes, his devoted wife of 51 years, preceded him in death in 2000. Mr. Geddes was born in Chicago, Ill., and had made Zephyrhills his home for 52 years moving from Chicago. Mr. Geddes was the proprietor of the Crystal Bar. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a charter member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 2276 and a member of the VFW. Mr. Geddes was inducted into the Pasco County American Bowling Congress' Hall of Fame. Mr. Geddes is survived by two sons, Robert Geddes and wife, Jeanne, and Kurt Geddes and wife, Amy; four daughters, Kandice Geddes Halls and husband, Sonny, Rene Geddes Hill, Gerri Geddes Belluso and husband, Andy, and Karol Geddes Sealander and husband, Ed; grandchildren, Shane and Chad Halls, Rhonda Pagliarli, Rochel and Roy R. Hill, Elizabeth Geddes, Kristi, Robert III, Kurt Jr. and Sophia Geddes, Justin, Jeremy and Gunnar Chauncey, Ryan Geddes and Rylee Sealander; great grandchildren, Cassidy Halls and Izabella Mathis. Funeral services will be held for Mr. Geddes at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2004, in the chapel of Oakley Funeral Home on West Highway 54 with Pastor Reinke of Our Savior Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow at Oakside Cemetery in Zephyrhills. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mr. Geddes' memory to the Hernando-Pasco Hospice, 7066 Fort King Road, Zephyrhills, FL 33541
