Still miss you so much Dear ol
Dad. You are always in our conversations. Like you never left. When memories are being made, always a " dad would love this". Or a " Wish Obie was here " Dad.so much to tell you. But mostly I see you. I see you in my Children and myself. It´s astounding how you continue to be with us. Such a wonderful gift for us all. You have touched so many lives . Truly. If you could only know what a legacy you are. Coffee and tasties
forever. Love you. Daughter # 1

"Ron" will always be my favorite teacher of all time. I had him for homeroom for all four years at Newton North High School, and many mornings Ron was the reason I came to school. He was kind, compassionate, caring, funny, and was not afraid to just "tell it like it is". I only wish I could have thanked him years later for everything he did for me while I was a struggling teenager trying to fit in and figure out who I was. Proud to say that I am now an educator and think of him all the time when I meet with kids who struggle. My condolences to his family.

Ron was an inspiring teacher and I have thought of him so often over the last 35 years. He made an impact on many young people and I am one of them. His legacy lives on and his lessons will stay with me.

On behalf of The ToyMakers of East Lake, we will miss Ron. He joined our group in November 2013 and used his woodworking talents to make wooden toys which brought smiles to many sick and needy children. Please convey our sympathy and condolences to all of Ron's family.

Ron had a positive impact on my life as a teacher, mentor, and colleague. I had the pleasure of having Ron as a teacher when I was a high school student. He had the gift of bringing subject matter to life for his students, making every class interesting and worthwhile. Ron's classes were always popular; kids seemed to gravitate toward him because it was clear that he loved teaching. When I returned to Newton North High School as a teacher myself, Ron was assigned to be my first-year mentor. He was generous with his time, advice, and teaching materials. As a new teacher, I was lucky to have him as an invaluable resource and friend. Ron continued to be a mentor and trusted colleague long after that first year, as we continued to share lesson ideas and materials until his retirement from NNHS. I am glad to have had the chance to know and work with Ron.

Our thoughts are with Jeanne and Ron's daughters during this difficult time.

With deepest sympathy,
Susan and Al Mucci

Ron was a straight up honest guy who saw the best in his students. He didn't hesitate to call us out when needed and inspire us always. I think of him to this day as a role model. I became a high school counselor in part, I'm sure, due to his influence. My thoughts are with you as a family. Thanks for sharing Ron with all of us!

Ron was the most optimistic, and even when his students thought it was unwarranted, he raised us up to a new level of thought. They just do not make them like that anymore. Thanks Ron.

Ron was the first teacher to ever inspire me. I loved his psychology class at Newton north and still remember his funny anecdotes. I went on to become a psychology major in college although was disappointed that my classes were so dry. Turns out, it was Mr. Boucher that was inspiring me more than the subject of psychology. Much love to his family. I can only imagine what's it's like to lose such a special man.
