Ronald Dyser Obituary

Dyser, Ronald Lee "Ron"

a respected member of the Tampa community, passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 79. Ron was a devoted husband, beloved father, and cherished grandfather and great-grandfather. He was predeceased by his brother, Bill.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, on November 17, 1945, to Mr. and Mrs. Mark Anthony Dyser, Ron moved to Tampa when he was five years old and spent the rest of his life as a proud resident of the city. Ron graduated from Jefferson High School in 1963 and went on to found Dyser Plumbing Company in 1973. His company became a trusted name throughout Hillsborough County, and remains a testament to his dedication, integrity, and civic engagement. For over five decades, Ron was not just a business owner, but a pillar of generosity and leadership in the Tampa community. His unwavering commitment to helping others colored his approach to business and life.

Ron shared 60 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Sylvia Dyser. His selfless, giving nature helped their love stand strong through every season of life. He was a loving father to Desiree (husband Dave) and Melanie (husband Jay). His character is reflected in his grandchildren, who carry his legacy. He had the deepest love for Jenna (husband Andy), Brittany, Joshua (wife Jackie), Gabrielle, Madison, and Skyler, and cherished his great-grandchildren, Archer and Malachi. Anyone who knew Ron knew that his greatest joy in life was his family. Their happiness was his highest priority. He gave selflessly to bring them joy.

Ron's impact touched the entire Tampa community. He served on various boards and organizations and headed numerous committees over the years. He was a faithful member of the Krewe of the Knights of Sant' Yago, and was elected El Barón XIV in 1987. As a 32nd Degree Mason, he was deeply committed to making Tampa a better place. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched.

To honor Ron's memory, a celebration of life will take place on June 30, 4-7 pm, at the Carrollwood Country Club, 13903 Clubhouse Drive, Tampa FL 33618. Flowers may be sent to this location for the celebration; or, donate to The Humane Society of Tampa Bay in Ron's name.

God Bless the Dyser family in your time of grief! Ron was our family's go to plumber since the 80's. He always had the right answer and provided quality service and fair pricing. However, what I miss most is talking politics with Ron. Ron you will be missed in Port Tampa City.

"Ron Dyser wasn´t just a plumber - he was a cornerstone of Tampa´s trades community. For decades, Ron poured his heart and soul into the industry, mentoring younger generations, serving on the Hillsborough County Plumbing and Gas Board, and lending a hand to anyone who needed it - often refusing a dime in return. He believed in doing things the right way, not the easy way. His laugh was infectious, his advice was gold, and his loyalty unmatched. Whether it was helping someone fix a busted pipe or offering wisdom on life, Ron always showed up. His legacy flows through every life he touched, and the pipes of this city will always carry a piece of him."

Ron was a friend for approximately 40 years. I learned early that he was a man of deep integrity and care for his friends, professional associates and the Tampa community. He could always be relied upon to help those in need. His love of family was obvious to those who were fortunate enough to become his friend. I will miss Ron. My condolences to Sylvia.

Dear Ron, Thank you for being so welcoming to our family! You are greatly missed.... It's hard to hold back the tears when thinking we will not see you and Happy walking by. You always took the time to talk to my wife when she walked by your home and always stopped to let me scratch and pet Happy,,,,,
I meant to come talk to you about a few things and now I so regret that I didn't knock on your door as opposed to waiting to see you on the street.
Having passed on ahead of me, I'll wait to see you again in Heaven!
This is tough to write, God Bless Your Family, you have blessed my family and we will miss you tremendously.... my children were saddened by the news and I will miss you! The Kiernan Family

Ron was a great neighbor, he welcomed us we moved down the street in 2019. We always used his company for all our plumbing needs and more importantly we almost saw each other daily on his walks with Happy around the block. I will miss my neighbor on his walks, and driving passed his plumbing green colored work vans every morning on my way to work, RIP Ron. My thoughts and prayers for the family.
