I was a patient of Dr. Perrott for 16 years until I move to Kentucky. He was amazing and told me if I was ever back in town to call the office and let them know I was a former patient, and he would make room for me on the schedule. Last year he was on vacation when I was back in St Pete, I just called today to schedule an appointment and learned of his passing. I am heartbroken to hear this. He was such a caring and skillful doctor who caught and cut out 6 squamous cell and 4 basal cells over the years. 4 times on my face, he was so concerned and careful about leaving the smallest scars possible so I would not be self-conscious. I have not had nearly the level of care since I last saw him 4 years ago. He got to know his patience on a personal level and always remembered the things we discussed. My deepest condolences to his family, friends and other patients who I know share my same shock and sadness. He was a very special person.

When I was five years old, Dr. Parrott saved my life. My previous doctors told my parents the spot on my skin was nothing. Dr. Parrott knew something was wrong. He was right, I had melanoma. I thank him everyday for saving my life. He has been my dermatologist ever since, truly a great person.

He was a very great doctor and had such a wonderful personality that i always looked forward to seeing him. He last operated on me March7 and i was in his office March 14 to have stitches removed. I tore my ACL playing pickle ball and showed up in his office in a knee high boot. He loved that and took my picture to show his girl friend. He knew better than to play that game. Then he did and loved it, like life in general. He was very intelligent and fun to be with. Terrible news. Fred Bleakley

I just found out - Kathy,Cameron and Dana. I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was a great man and an exceptional doctor. When we lived in Pinellas County my husband, my son and daughter and myself were his patients. Dana and Cameron when I mentioned your names he would beam and tell me of all your accomplishments. You were and continue to be thought of. I will keep you all in my prayers. I am sure he is looking down on you and still so proud. As principal it was wonderful to have you as a St Cecelia School family. So sorry your heartache and loss. May God continue to hold your dad and you in the palm of His hands. God bless

Having moved out of Clearwater, I do not keep up on the latest news, but I was taken aback when I learned of Dr. Perrott's passing. His gentle, yet firm, manner of approach to my challenges put me at ease each time I saw him. His ability to put take your mind off of something, while getting to the root of a problem always put things into perspective. HIs accomplishments were impressive, his abilities many, but the things he was most proud of were, and are, his daughters. He would beam when talking about them, just saying enough to see his pride in their accomplishments. I will remember Dr. Perrott with a very fond grin and smirk, as I am sure he would want to be remembered.

Sadly, I heard of Dr. Perrott's passing this morning at the Bardmoor Y. It turns out that several of us were his patients. His loss is immeasurable. Quick of wit and kind of heart was he! He was my favorite Doc for over 20 years. Though he often ran a bit behind, I never minded because I knew he was giving the same generous care and listening to all his patients, just as he did for me.
Dr. P, you were and still are a bright spark of light!

Great doctor! And that's an understatement!
He saw my husbandat one of his appointments and said he did not look well (but with different words), and Dr. Perrott said to him you have lupus, have it checked!
Sure enough, results came back with lupus.
Great chairside manners.
Great sportsman. We used to talk about his surfing trip to Costa Rica.
He will be greatly missed

Working at the Bardmoor Facility for over 20 years naturally I ran into Dr Perrott often. He always greeted with a smile and a short conversation. When I visited him as a patient he was always so kind and thorough.I referred many friends and family members to him. He always reminded me if I couldn´t get them in quick enough to tell the staff "friends and family" and they were seen promptly. RIP doc, you made a difference in so many lives. My condolences go out to his family, friend and of course his wonderful staff.

There are truly no words to express my deep sorrow to learn of Dr. Perrott's passing. For 12 years he was my dermatologist who surely saved my life after finding and excising a melanoma. However, he quickly became so much more than my doctor. He was a warm and always concerned professional who I considered a friend. Dr. Perrott will be so greatly missed but the memory of his genuine ability to care for and connect with his patients and friends will certainly endure. I send my sincere condolences and prayers to the Perrott family.

We were stunned to see Dr.Perrott's obituary in Sunday's paper! Hard to believe this vibrant, exceptionally talented, humorous and simply wonderful person had passed. He had been our dermatologist for many years and we always looked forward to our visits to Suncoast Skin Solutions. In first meeting he was a person one instantly liked. He had so many deeply sublime qualities that defy suitable. description. He often spoke of his family, particularly his children of whom he was so proud. And to them, as well as to his professional colleagues, we extend our deepest condolences. In closing I must add that I will never watch Christmas Vacation again that I won't think of - and greatly miss - Ron Perrott.

Stunned by this news. Dr Perrott "Ron" was truly a wonderful physician who provided excellent medical care and with compassion what we call "bedside" manner. My Oncologist at the time was Dr. Hano. He said, with the cancer I have you only want to see Dr. Perrott, his Dermatologist. I made an appointment and it was like winning the lottery! What a wonderful man. He talked to me and took his time to understand my problems. After that each time I saw him it was like talking to a friend. You could feel how much he loved what he did both at his work and in life. My husband Gerry and I both went to him. I can't imagine trying to find another Doctor to replacement him. He was a one of a kind Doctor. He will be deeply missed. My condolences to his family.

It broke my heart today when I walked into his office & saw "In loving memory of Dr Ronald Perrott"....he's been my dermatologist since he joined this practice & he was one of my favorite doctors.....first time I met him he said I was a "dermatologist's dream"....I had 3 skin issues that would keep me with him forever, but none were deadly, so we'd grow old together....I spent a third of my life with him & he will be missed terribly....Pat Johnson

My heart is breaking with this tragic news. I only really knew him as one of my doctors, but what a physician he was. My skin conditions caused me to see him way to frequently, but I always enjoyed our visits and conversations. The news of Dr. Perrott's passing brought tears to my eyes. He was much more than a trusted physician who saved my life by removing a melanoma. For almost twenty years I actually looked forward to my appointments with him. We were also neighbors and beach runners. One day we passed each other on the sand and I wasn't wearing my hat. Boy, did he let me know about it!~

I learned of Dr. Perrott's passing when Skin Solutions called to re-set my to re-set my appointment. Not only was I stunned but terribly saddened. Referred to him many years ago, he was one on the most caring and personable human beings in my life -- always a smile, always a fist bump. Many times he laughingly told me that my name made him think of Dr. Seuss. May all of his family find peace and know that a man like him will never truly be gone from us.

I am deeply saddened to hear this heartbreaking news. My love and light go out to Dr. Perrott's family, friends, and coworkers during this difficult time. It's hard to believe that just last week I saw Dr. Perrott as we discussed my upcoming surgery plans. He has been treating my skin cancer for over two decades with unparalleled care and skill. He reviewed his plans with his typical lighthearted demeanor, his jokes always put me at ease - I left his office saying see you next month! I am truly stunned to hear of his passing. He will be greatly missed.

I first me Dr. Ron at Los Mariachis Mexican Restaurant in Largo, where we both liked to go. I noticed he drove a Porsche, and I did as well. I asked who he was,and I realized he was my dermatologist, but I had never met him, because for about two years I'd only seen his P.A., So I introduced myself and immediately I liked him, and I saw him frequently at the restaurant, the gym,and at the office. No matter how busy and rushed he was, because he had so many patients, he was kind, humorous, and caring. He is one of a kind. I will miss my friend so much.
