Mrs. Brown, Mark & Lee Ann,

I was so saddened to hear the news that Rev. Brown had passed away. He was one of a kind and eventhough I was a kid when you all pastored at Arlington Calvary, I distinctly remember his beautiful smile and the love he had for the people at Calvary Church. I remember always getting a huge bear hug from him on Sunday mornings. :) Our prayers will be with you. Would love to hear from you. I'm on facebook :) DeAnne

Lois - One of my first thoughts when hearing about Sam's homegoing was that he has been reunited with your beloved son Sammy. I never forgot the poignant story of losing your precious son and how heartbreaking it was. Your ministry at Calvary Chuch in Arlingon has left an indelible print on my life. Sam Brown was the best pastor I've ever had and it was my privilege to tell him so many years later. He took a personal interest in me and my husband Dean and truly had a servant's heart. He worked as hard as any laborer on the educational wing and anything else that needed to be done. Leeann and Mark, you are so blessed to have had him as your father. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

It is hard to find the right words at a time like this. Bro. Brown was truely a man of God and one of the best pastors our family experienced. Our loss is heavens gain and I can just see him there and everyone greeting him along with my wonderful husband that went to Sweet Beulah Land two years ago. I just want to say to Lois, Lee Ann, Mark and the rest of the family this is trying times but the Lord will see you thru. I would have loved to have been there for the funeral but I felt my daughter needed me with her husband's sickness. My prayers are with you and you hold a very special place in our hearts because you have been there for our family many times. We love you.

My Saviour First of All
"When my lifework is ended,
And I cross the swelling tide,
When the bright and glorious morning
I shall see,
I shall know my Redeemer when
I reach the other side,
And His smile will be the first
to welcome me."

I remember he loved "At the Cross".
He was a good pastor, and you were the
model pastor's wife.
I am glad to have known you both.
God bless all of you.

We have so many fond memories of Reverend Sam Brown. I believe Anita and I were his first wedding in Clearwater, over 30 years ago. We rededicated our lives to Christ under his ministry, and continue planting seed as a part of his downline.
May God's matchless grace sustain you in your hour of sorrow. Psalms 30:5

Lois, Jo and I appreciate you both so much for mentoring us spiritually during our early marriage years. Thanks to your influence, we will be celebrating a 30th wedding anniversary this August.

Pastor Brown had a warm and caring attitude toward all whom he pastored. He shared the truths of the gospel message in a way that showed us God's grace; something that both of us needed reinforced at that time in our spiritual lives. Thank you and God bless you and your family.
