Dear Mr. and Mrs. Petrides,
I was heartbroken to hear of Sam's passing and wanted to extend my sincerest condolences to you and your family. I only just learned of his passing, and my heart is truly heavy.
Sam was a true friend and a kind soul. Sam carried himself with quiet strength, compassion, and unwavering faith. During our time working together for Pasco County, he was always such a light, encouraging me in the Lord and reminding me of God's faithfulness, even on the hardest days.
Proverbs 27:17 " As Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another"
Heaven has certainly gained a true worshiper and a mighty man of valor. I pray you find peace in knowing that he is resting in the arms of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest condolences to Sam's family. I just found out today from a coworker of Sam's that he had passed away. I knew Sam when I worked for Pasco County. He was always nice & I always enjoyed talking with him.

I became an Orthodox Christian under Father Petrides in 2000. He baptized me. What I remember is how Sammy helped not only with my baptism, but also with all the services simply because we didn't have enough people to serve at the sanctuary. I was always impressed with his service and love for the liturgy.
