PROMOTED TO GLORY is an appropriate expression as we honor the memory of Brother Segismundo (RAY) Concepcion.
Ray and Florence Concepcion were among the first settlers of the Twin Rivers community in East Windsor Township, adjacent to Hightstown, NJ, in 1971-72, having moved from Brooklyn, NY. As recently new believers, they were baptized and joined in worship, fellowship, and witness along with the Gospel Mission Corps in Central NJ, including having both an "open heart" and an "open home" for the Gospel. Ray received ordination and Florence was consecrated as a deaconess, commissioned as missionaries and evangelists, and then they moved to Florida and went into other countries with the message of salvation. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Florence and the rest of the family at this time of Ray's sudden passing. We are grateful for the many blessings that these precious people have received from the Lord and have shared with us and so many others. While we do sense the loss since Ray has been called to the eternal home that Jesus / Yeshua has prepared for him, we praise God that to be "absent from the body (for the believers)- present with the Lord." Surely God will comfort, strengthen, and encourage all the friends and loved ones and continue to make Ray's godly influence to be a blessing to us and others, and to guide and provide for Florence and the family subsequently to Ray's Homegoing. We loved Ray and were greatly blessed when he and Florence invited us to the first and only "Passover" meal we have ever attended. I knew him to brief a time to learn what I know I could have.
