Thomas ELLIS Obituary

ELLIS, Thomas Joel "Joe," 57, of Plant City, Fla., departed this life December 17, 2011. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, enjoyed the outdoors and music, and loved his sons, family and friends. He is survived by his sons, Chandler Ellis and Simon Ellis; mother, Bonnie Ellis; brothers, Michael Ellis, Neil Ellis and Matthew Ellis; and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. A.R. Ellis Jr.; and brother, William Andrew "Andy" Ellis. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, December 23, at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 County Road 39 S, Plant City, Fla., where the family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bruton Memorial Library, 302 McLendon St., Plant City, FL 33566. Expressions of condolence can be made at www.hopewellfuneral.com
