Jane, I was a classmate and football player with Tom at Davidson. Tom was a A+ person in every way. He played football hard and was loyal to his fellow teammates. We are saddened by the passing of Dr. Fleischer. He was a very caring physician. My husband thought he may have had to have knee replacement but the doctor reassured him that his knees were in good shape for an 82 year old and he only had patella tendonitis. We will miss him.

Mrs. Fleischer,
I have been a patient of Dr. Fliescher's for well over 20 years. I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of his death. During my visits, we would not only discuss my ailments, but the conversation would ultimately turn to our common addiction---golf!! When I learned of his triumph in the Rock Hill CC Club Championship, I thereafter referred to him as "Champ"!! He was a special person in my life--had it not been for his care and talent I would be in a wheel chair today. As it is I am walking pain free with the two new knees he fixed me up with.

Mrs. Fleischer,
Your husband was remarkable. Twice this past year, Dr. Fleischer's grace reflected in his irresistible smile and hands were God's as he restored life to my left hand from carpal tunnel and my right hip from a break. His genuine expression of care for me always touched my heart.
I pray you are comforted in this time of shocking loss to know Dr. Fleischer is walking streets of gold.

I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Dr. Fleischer. I first came to know him when he took care of my mother in 1988. She had broken her neck after a string of bad happenings and he was so kind and gentle. He has since had my husband, daughter and myself as patients. We were truly blessed for he was an amazing doctor with an incredibly infectious smile. Please know that our prayers are with you and your family.

Jesus...I have know him for years..His wife was my Nursing counselor at York Tech. He did two rotators cuff surgery's for me...and was about to do one more...What a wonderful wonderful Doctor and person..and his wife is lovely..There was a robbery in Charlotte before Christmas...I just lost my 26 year old son..they shot and killed him. God has given me strength to go on..although it is very very hard. I will pray for you all. I am sooo sorry.l

My father passed away from a massive heart attack at the age of 52, so I can relate to the pain of losing someone tragically. My heart breaks for the loss of your husband, father, coworker, and my son's physician. When my little boy was 2 1/2, Dr. Fleischer set his badly broken arm. It was so tramatic for us but he put us at ease and did a fantastic job. I am so grateful he was in our lives! To Tom's family: May I add my own condolences to others posted here. I am a Class of '77 fraternity brother of Tom's from Davidson and learned of his passing tonight from George Kutcher, a classmate and also a fraternity brother of Tom's.
I am especially saddened to learn that Tom lived so close by and yet I never saw him again after college. Many of Tom's fellow fraternity brothers from that era have made an effort to reconnect in the past few years, now that our kids are grown and we have more time, and I would have loved for Tom to have joined us for one of our golf or Davidson basketball outings.
I will remember Tom as a great guy, a driven student and a darn good football player. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dr. Fleischer will be very missed in the Rock Hill community. He was such an amazing surgeon. After a motorcycle accident and an unbearable amount of pain due to an amputation, he performed surgery on my leg and fixed it so I could walk again and be pain free. My heart goes out to his family, his friends and peers. He was a caring Dr.and always seemed upbeat. We are all saddened by his passing.

Dr Fleischer was such a caring doctor. My father was a patient of his and I have taken care of several of his patients on the ortho unit at PMC. Dr Flesicher was open, honest and had a great sense of humor. No matter how busy I was, when he was on the unit I would find myself gravatating toward him to hear his latest joke or quip. Though I only knew Dr. Fleischer as a physician I will say that he instilled trust in his patients. He made me feel completely at ease as he assisted me with surgery and several joint problems.
More importantly, he saw my daughter when she was diagnosed with scoliosis and led us to find the very best care available for this condition. He was an unselfish and caring person.
