Walter taught me Driver Ed in the early '60s. I was also a Co-Driver Ed instructor with him for many years at BCHS. He was one of the smartest men I ever met, a great guy, RIP Walt.

Thank you Mr. Spangler for teaching me how to parallel park - one of the few things I learned in high school that I can actually use today. Rest in peace.

Uncle Walter and Aunt Glenda were truly loving and giving in their lives. He dearly missed Aunt Glenda. Now they are together again. I can still remember his smile and his laugh. Sending my love and prayers.

My Uncle Walter was the oldest in my Dad's family(Charles). He was friendly and had a great sense of humor like the whole family. He and our family all shared the memories of teaching as my Mother(Jessie) and all 3 daughters became teachers. Apart in miles we still kept in touch . You will always be loved and remembered .
