William Gaston GAINER

GAINER, William Gaston, 80, of Winter Haven, FL passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at the New Horizon Share Home in Winter Haven. Born July 17, 1933 in Chipley, FL, he moved here in 2010 from Tampa, FL. He was a retired insurance underwriter for Cigna; a member of the Hyde Park Presbyterian Church; a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Korean War; a member of the Royal Order of Jesters and was Past Potentate of the Egypt Temple Shrine. Preceded in death by his wife, Mona in July 2012, he is survived by his brother, Kenneth Gainer of Chipley, FL; a nephew, Kenneth Gainer, Jr. of Chipley, FL and a niece, Stephanie Gainer of Pensacola, FL; and numerous other nieces and nephews from his wife's side of the family. The family will receive friends from 10:00am till 11:00am, Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, FL. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park in Tampa.
