William SIMMS Obituary
"Bill" passed away Sunday evening Dec. 17, 2017. Bill was born July 16, 1953. He is survived by his wife, Terry; his parents, William and Nancy Simms; his daughters, Chelsea (Erik) Alper and Lindsay Simms; and his brother, Scott (Nancy.) Bill was a 1973 graduate of Plant High and attended the University of Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to a charity of your choice. Bill enjoyed his life at the beach, his family and friends, and he will be missed by all.

I wish that Jimmy and I had gotten the opportunity to know and show family love to Bill Jr. He had such a sweet smile and can only assume that he had a wonderful personality and was a good brother.

To Terry, Chelsea, Lindsay, Bill Sr., Nancy and Scott and the rest of the Simms family I wish all of the Simms family my most sincere heartfelt sympathies. I only met Bill Jr. on one occasion but know his brother Scott and his parents Bill Sr. and Nancy who are all wonderful people. I always heard good things about him. I know you are suffering a great loss and I wish you all good things in this time of loss. Bill Jr.'s now in a better place.

To Terry, Chelsea, Lindsay, and the rest of the Simms family - I was so sad to learn that Bill left us just two weeks ago. My thoughts are with all of you over this holiday season. I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to know Bill. He always treated me like a part of the family. Had so many fun times and laughs at Bill & Terry's house, visiting the Island, meeting at Merry Makers over the years. Terry - if there's anything I can do to help in anyway, I'll be here. xx

We were so sorry to have just recently learned of Bill's passing. He was a loving, beautiful soul! He was kind & gentle and with open arms gave hugs & kisses with a smile that lit up a room! My true condolences to the entire Simms Family. Bill always had good things to say about people and I appreciated that. During times of problems that I brought up I was still able to communicate with him and we remained friends. Love to the family our condolences and prayers are lifted up for you guys.
