Anthony J. Barboza

Anthony J. Barboza, husband of Dyan Lehouillier passed away at home after a brief illness on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the age of 58. Born in Taunton he was the son of the late Harry and Dolores (Gonsalves) Barboza. He was a merchant seaman, later working as a cook at several restaurants. Anthony was an avid softball player for many years. He found great pleasure watching his son play sports. He also enjoyed online poker and cards. He also enjoyed singing and would travel to different towns to do karaoke. He is survived by two sons; Cameron Anderson of Kingston, MA and Anthony Barboza of Taunton, three brothers; Robert Barboza of Florida, Brian Barboza of New Bedford and Scott Barboza of Florida, sister; Arleen (Barboza) Nicholas, several aunts; several nieces and nephews and many cousins. He was also the brother of the late Daniel J. Barboza. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 7th, 2021 from 5-7PM at the Riendeau Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton MA.
