Brenda I. (Olson) Dupont, 73, formerly of Taunton, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, December 23, 2020. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Dupont. Born and raised in Taunton, daughter of the late Victor and Florence (Boutilier) Olson, she graduated from Taunton High School and after receiving her degree in nursing she worked at Morton Hospital and various area nursing facilities as a RN. Brenda and her husband later moved to East Haven, VT. She is survived by her sons, Marc Dupont and his wife Jaclyn of Taunton, Michael Dupont and his wife Kelly of Mandeville, LA and Joe Dupont and his wife Jen of Fairhaven; and four grandchildren. In accordance with her wishes she was cremated and will be interred with her husband in Vermont at a later date. Arrangements are by the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven. Wonderful memories of long ago!!! We shared so many laughs and such great fun with Brenda and Joe and their family!!! May she rest peacefully. My most sincere condolences to you all during this time. You boys were blessed with a wonderful Mom. God's blessings upon you all.

I have known Brenda most of my life. Her parents and mine were best friends. Our families alternated Christmas at each other’s house. We played, and worked together at the Florist Shop during the busy season. I remember her laugh and smile. My mother made her wedding gown She and Joey had their great times together.
Last time I saw her was at Fathoms in Fairhaven. She still had that great smile and laugh. I know she will be missed by many.

Hello, I worked with Brenda at Morton hospital many years ago. She was very kind and caring to her patients. I enjoyed working with . She was fun loving and hard working. I was just thinking about her the other day.... I hope she passed peacefully and God bless her family.
