Eberia M. Rezendes

Eberia M. Rezendes, 82, of Taunton, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017, surrounded by her family, at Life Care of Raynham. She was the wife of fifty-eight years to Mario A. Rezendes. Eberia was born in Saint Michael, Azores the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Lourdes-Melo) Rezendes. She worked on the Navy Line at Texas Instruments in Attleboro for over twenty years , retiring in 1996. Mrs. Rezendes was a communicant of Saint Andrew the Apostle Church. Eberia enjoyed cooking the traditional Portuguese cuisine, sewing, making crafts, gardening and coloring. She also cherish the time she spent with her family and friends. Survivors besides her husband are a daughter: Virginia M. Gowen and her husband David of Taunton; a son: Francis M. Rezendes and his wife Pamela of Taunton; two grandchildren: Timothy Rezendes and Lucas Gowen; a sister: Lourdes Melo of Saint Mi- chael, Azores; along with many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Grace Melo, Joseph Melo and Angelo DeMelo. Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 9am from the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave, Taunton, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10am in Saint Andrew the Apostle Church, 19 Kilmer Ave, Taunton.
