I was a 7 year old boy when your Uncle Jack invited my parents and me to attend your ordination to the priesthood in Fall River. I remember everything about it, every song, the celebration at White's restaurant and your first mass. To say I was in awe was and understatement. Then 40 years past and I took you out to celebrate your 40th anniversary. That dinner was special. Thank you. RIP

I will never forget your greeting when I was dropping my mom off at the Carmelite Monastery in San Diego for a novena
Many a St Patrick´s Day celebration you lightened with your great sense of humor and pride in the Irish heritage

Fr. Jim Fahey was a very Special Man, He Married My Wife and I and Christened our eldest son when I was stationed NAS Cubi Pt , Philippines. We Golfed together and truly enjoyed his company all those years ago. I regret that I did see this until 2021; Just was thinking of this Great Man and ran a Google search. RIP Fr. Jim and Thank You for your Service to the Navy Flock of the Subic Bay / Cubi Point Naval Stations.

Chaplain Fahey USN
I served with you and worked for you and navy E-6 religious program specialist Martin at camp San Mateo, on Camp Pendleton, USMC base in late 1980s. Thanks for your naval military service for
God/Christ/and nation and family. I bought you your first bronze oak leafs when you got promoted and I gave you free
(I had bought) tickets to the Neil diamond concert in San Diego Ca 1989, for I was leaving active duty. We had some good memorable times me, you and
Navy RPS E-6 Martin.
Plus you replaced Catholic priest Dobbs and Protestant Chaplain Wagner was there. My condolences to the Fahey family for your loss.

Father Jim.My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Your kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered, especially during 2001 and 2010 when my dad and mom passed. Your compassion will always remain in my heart. You have been missed since the day you left St.Theresa's. Rest in peace.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Fr. Jim. He was such a loving kind person. He was so supportive to me and my family when my two siblings passed in the 70's and a friend to our family. I will always have fond memories of Fr. Jim. My heartfelt sympathy to his family. Keeping you all in prayer.

Maureen. My heart is so with you today. I have been trying to locate Jim for many many years unsuccessfully ( now I know why ). Then I tried to find you, but also unsuccessfully, to find out how you all were. I was so surprised today to have a friend of mine post of his passing. My heart felt condolences and prayers are with you and your family. Jim was a great great friend for many years. ( you and I met several times and also at his ordination, to which he had me sing )... He was a wonderful wonderful man who loved the Lord and loved and encouraged all he served with. I had no idea he joined the military! Today he is with our Lord and no longer suffering...My heart and prayers will continue for all of you, and I will ask God to comfort you as only He can. May you have great peace and comfort!

GOD bless you, Fr. Jim. We love and miss you and will never forget you. Thanks for always being there for me, Karen, Chris and Kayla. There really are no words to express how much your spiritual guidance and your friendship meant to us. As much as we will miss you, I'm happy that you are at peace and with your mom and dad. I'm also happy that you were able to be at Chris' wedding. A memory that we all will always cherish.
