Steve DAndrea Obituary

Steve Paul DAndrea, of Richmond, Va., formerly of Raynham, left this life on April 25, at age 55. He was a creative, compassionate, intelligent and funny man who faced numerous medical challenges with quiet courage, humor, and some occasional colorful language. Steve grew up in Raynham, MA. He attended Colby College and London School of Economics for his undergraduate degree, and Columbia University for his MBA. He spent his happiest work years as a Marketing Executive at Reynolds Metals. Steve loved magic, skiing and dogs of all shapes and sizes, but his real passion was music. He was a talented song writer, guitar player and self-taught pianist. He appreciated a good laugh, a good meal, and was probably the biggest New England Patriots fan in the state of Virginia, where he called home for the past 25 years. Steve is preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn, and is survived by his wife Gayle, father Ed, siblings Joe, Matt, Betsy and Jimmy; siblings-in- law Linde, Dave and Amy; five nieces and nephews, and many extended family and friends who loved him dearly. A celebration of Steves life will be held on Saturday, May 20, between the hours of 4 and 7 p.m. at the Fireside Grill in Middleboro, MA.
