Angela LoTufo Obituary

Angela Maria LoTufo, 72, died May 16, 2010, at her home. She was born in Queens, N.Y., and lived in Hobe Sound for 18 years, coming from Long Island, N.Y. She was an interior designer, artist and painter. She received her associate of arts degree from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, Hobe Sound. She was an active volunteer for 10 years with the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce; and a member of Hobe Sound Art League and Friends of the Library. She also was a former Girl Scout leader. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Joseph F. LoTufo of Hobe Sound; sons, Bryan LoTufo of Montauk, N.Y., and Robert LoTufo of Hixon, Tenn.; daughter, Rosanne M. Sammis of Jupiter; sisters, Pam Ward of Belen, N.M., and Ann Melchiorie of Corona, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, O'Reste Cardillo; and sister, Benedetta Devan. Memorial contributions may be made to Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce, P. O. Box 1507, Hobe Sound, FL 33475; please specify for Chamber, Hobe Sound Art League or Friends of the Library. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. May 19 at Forest Hills Young and Prill Chapel, Stuart, with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. May 20 at St. Christopher Catholic Church. Hi Aunt Angie,
You are thought of always and missed very much. I know Uncle Joe is standing right bye you either his eyes wide open and a huge smile on his face . His face always lit up when you walked into a room... we all know why.
You are an amazing human and your smile and huge heart made everyone around you happy. Please give everyone a hug and kiss for me ... that will keep you busy for awhile. The things that you accomplished in one day always amazed everyone . You lived everyday to the fullest since I could remember . I think you got that from my mom.
Please give my mommy, daddy and "Uncle Joe" hug for me .. Then my grandparents , everyone in our family , grandma Rose and all those that were part of our lives.
Your beauty, inside and outside, is missed. Unmatched to the energy you had and the joy of laughter ... I love you very much and miss you

Happy Belated Anniversary Aunt Angie! I just texted with Ro last week and she sent me pics of Bimini . She is getting so big. Hali is such a great mom.. she looks at Bimini the way Ro looked at Hali and the way you looked at Ro. I know you are looking down watching over everyone . Thank you for being "The Best Aunt in the World."
You are in my thoughts and heart always .

Aunt Angie, You are missed so much, always in my heart and thoughts. Forever grateful for having been blessed with the World´s Best Aunt! I remember you calling me when You received the cards I sent you addressed as such. We laughed and would said "I Love You" to one another
Thank you for everything! Some on my best memories growing up we´re those spent with you and Uncle Joe. Congrats on your great granddaughter Bimini. I remember Hali shopping and swimming as a toddler barely walking . That was a great day!
I love you and have something in every room of my home that reminds me of you and Uncle Joe. I miss you both, but am blessed with such wonderful memories
