Angela Maria LoTufo

Angela Maria LoTufo, 72, died May 16, 2010, at her home. She was born in Queens, N.Y., and lived in Hobe Sound for 18 years, coming from Long Island, N.Y. She was an interior designer, artist and painter. She received her associate of arts degree from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, Hobe Sound. She was an active volunteer for 10 years with the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce; and a member of Hobe Sound Art League and Friends of the Library. She also was a former Girl Scout leader. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Joseph F. LoTufo of Hobe Sound; sons, Bryan LoTufo of Montauk, N.Y., and Robert LoTufo of Hixon, Tenn.; daughter, Rosanne M. Sammis of Jupiter; sisters, Pam Ward of Belen, N.M., and Ann Melchiorie of Corona, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, O'Reste Cardillo; and sister, Benedetta Devan. Memorial contributions may be made to Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce, P. O. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. May 19 at Forest Hills Young and Prill Chapel, Stuart, with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. May 20 at St. Christopher Catholic Church.
