ARTHUR BUNN PIATT Arthur Bunn Piatt, 90, of Orchid Island, FL, died July 8, 2006 at his son Tony's residence in Wabasso, FL. He was born March 12, 1916 in Adams County, Ohio, and moved to Orchid Island in January 1939, and lived there until just before his death. Before retirement he worked 42 years as a Mechanic and Heavy Equipment Operator for Deerfield Groves Company of Wabasso. Surviving are his sons, Mac Curtis Piatt (Doris) of Vero Beach, FL, Tony Lavern Piatt (Ruby) of Wabasso, FL; daughters, Ruby Louise Johnston (Lee) of Little Orchid Island, FL, Betty Lorrain Bell (Jerry) of Clearfield, PA, Judy Faye Vanaman (Charlie) of Vero Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren, and 5 greatgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Essie Mae. Services and burial will be at a later date.
