Barbara Torrillo Obituary

Barbara Jean Torrillo

Port St. Lucie, FL

Barbara Jean Torrillo, 68, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on May 1, 2017.

Barbara was born in Queens, New York to the late Walter and Dorothy Woessner and spent her childhood in Commack on Long Island. She met the love of her life, Leo, 54 years ago, whom she married and began a family with in Huntington, New York. They later moved to Downsville, New York in the Catskill Mountains and recently became permanent residents of Port St. Lucie in 2016.

Barbara's unique perspective on life could be characterized as quirky and with her bright smile and laugh, she is considered by those that knew her as a one of kind spirit. Her self-motivation, endless positivity, and desire for adventure made her truly ahead of her time. She was someone who always found the most out of each situation throughout her life.

Barbara was the devoted wife to Leo for the past 47 years; loving mother of sons Christian Torrillo and David Torrillo. "Grammy B" was endlessly devoted to and the adored grandmother to Sophia Ann and Mia Elizabeth, daughters of Christian and Andrea.

Barbara will always be remembered for the unconditional love and support for her family and friends.

Services will be private.
