Frances Vander Veer Obituary

Frances M. Vander Veer, 87, died July 15, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach. She was born in Paterson, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for 37 years, coming from Saddle Brook, N.J. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter, Claire Marie Williams of Jacksonville and Booton, N.J.; son, James Vander Veer of Sussex, N.J.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Vander Veer; and sister, Thelma Elia. Memorial contributions may be made to Indian River Medical Center, 1000 36th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960. Services: A private family memorial service will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
