George Shultz Obituary

George A. "Al" Shultz

Hobe sound, FL

George A. "Al" Shultz passed away on September 20,2016, after a 3-year fight with cancer at the age of 65. He was born in Pottstown, PA.

He was predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth Christina Schultz Frederick (nee Pfingsten), his father, George E. Shultz, brother, Barry Shultz, and step-father, Charles Frederick.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Shultz, sisters Tina Ravel and Carol Maynard, brothers Robert Shultz and Jeff Shultz, and sons, Tim, Tom, Shawn, and Brandon. He also leaves behind many loving and loyal friends. His immediate family, close friends, and three dogs stayed by his side throughout his battle. He was an amazing and loving man. He loved his family with all his heart and soul. Restoring classic cars was his next love. Deborah waited 43 years to find the love of her life. She is heartbroken that they didn't have longer together. They loved, laughed and lived heartily during their 21 years of marriage. He was the strongest man she has ever known.

A memorial luncheon will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Treasure Coast Hospice for their care and compassion during his final days.

In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution, in his name, to Treasure Coast Hospice. Call the foundation at 772.403-4500 for information. Arrangements entrusted to Aycock Funeral Home, Young & Prill Chapel, Stuart, FL.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends Al during this difficult time. May the many memories and years you shared together bring you happiness. Although we are never prepared to lose one so dear, take solace in God's promise to comfort those who mourn. Matthew 5:4
