Hammond Dugan Obituary
Chicago, IL
Hammond J. Dugan, III, age 81, of Chicago, IL, passed away on January 4, 2018. His wife Betty Dugan was with him. Hammond was born on May 22, 1936 in Baltimore, MD. Hammond is survived by his wife, Betty; his children Hammond J. Dugan, IV of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and his daughter, Cardiff Dugan Loy of Los Angeles; his sister Frances M. Dugan of Nashville, IN. Hammond has four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in the Spring.

I just found Dr Dugan's number in my phone and decided to look him up. He was my boys doctor...who are now 32 and 27... He was such a special person and so personable. He definitely fulfilled his calling! Thank you for sharing him with us!

To Hammond IV and the rest of Dr Dugan's family. I just happened to think to look up your dad today. Only to find he had passed 2 1/2 years ago. My sister and I were his patients for years up until I was about 16 in 1980. He truly was a nice and great doctor. He never ceased to make me laugh even if facing a stitch sewing needle to my brow or series of tests when sick or getting shots and checkups. I am sad, I was not able to thank him as an adult before it was too late. Thank you for sharing your dad with us and all the families who's children he cared for.

Dr. Dugan was my doctor when I was a little girl! He always called me Smiley . I was very sick when I was about 10 and Dr. Dugan took great care of me. I was just today telling my fiancé about him and just learned of his passing. Sending my heartfelt condolences to his family.

I just learned of Dr. Dugan's death today and was so sad. I had bad asthma as a child and he would come to the office to give me Adrenalin shots even on the weekend so I would not have to go to the ER. He had a wonderful humor and was very calming for kids. He was the best doctor I've ever had, God Bless him.

To Dr. Dugan's Family:
I was going through some old papers and found my letter to Dr. Dugan when he closed his Towson Office. I googled him and was very sad to see he had passed away in January.
I loved Dr. Dugan. He was great with my two children and me! My husband traveled for a living so I had to handle a lot on my own.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless you, Dr. Dugan.
