Ron and family, you have my sincere sympathy. I will keep you all in thought and prayer, and hope that you find comfort in each other's arms during this time of sorrow.
Joanne exemplified kindness in everything she did or said, and she will be sorely missed by so many of us in the Barbie community.
Even though most of us have rarely if ever crossed paths with Joanne in real life, we have known her charitable demeanor and felt the outpouring of love in her online presence. I doubt that she could have known how deeply she had impressed and inspired many of us through her selfless charity and concern for others.
God rest her soul and bless all who knew and loved her.

I knew Joanne for 28 years and she was always the most giving and generous person. The last time I saw her was at a Barbie Convention and it was like old times again. I will never forget her sweet personality and thoughtfulness.
As the days and weeks pass Ron and family, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

My mom and I will miss Joanne so much. She was such a kind person who always was supportive of her friends. I have all the cards she has sent me over the years and those and the gifts she sent will always be treasured. I am so glad we got to meet you both in Florida. Joanne was truly an angel and it is rare you meet someone as special as she was. My mom and I have made a donation to the American Cancer Society in her name. I knew Joanne for several years, but only had the opportunity to meet her in person once, As I expected she was the picture of a great LADY (all too rare these days), her kindness, generosity, beauty and thoughtfulness is what I will remember most. She even included my parents on her card list, which thrilled them to no end. The Barbie collector community has lost a great friend, though we will keep her in our hearts forever. Joanne was a very special on-line friend. I shared her love of Barbie collecting and really enjoyed the "In the Pink" doll group she created. Her loving and generous manner spread throughout the group, giving everyone a place to share their hobby without ridicule. She was a ray of sunshine in this world and we will all miss her friendship.

My deepest sympathies to Ron and all of Joanne's loved ones. Joanne was a sweet, kind, and loving soul, and I honestly loved her. Even though I didn't frequent ITP anymore she stayed in touch. I loved picking out musical cards for her because it brought her such joy. She was a rare gem that brought warmth and comfort to many and that's definitely rare in this sometimes cold & callous world. I hope that there is some comfort knowing how much she loved so many and how much we all loved and still love her.
