Joy and I were best friends our early years at Kent Place - so many happy times. We roomed together at our 50th reunion and tried to keep up by phone. I was so sorry to learn she had died - my deepest sympathy to her daughters.

We were very sad to learn of Joy's passing and send our deepest sympathy and condolences to her family. We met her over 42 years ago when we enrolled our daughter Patricia at the Everett School and then followed Joy to Children's All Day School where Patricia was one of the first students and spent her days happily through kindergarten because of Joy's wonderful leadership and love for young children. She was a pioneer in providing quality day care and a wonderful educator. We will always be grateful for her presence in ours and our daughter's life, which allowed all of us to have a better experience as a working parent family. She will be remembered always by the Longshore family -- Shirley, Pete and Patricia

My husband Dan and I were able to spend a wonderful day with your Mom and Dan's Dad, Dan Sr. when we were visiting in Vero. We all went to lunch and drove around seeing the beautiful sights, having such a nice time. I'm glad we could share that time with her. Our Dad misses her company very much. Our condolences, Becky and Dan Doherty Jr.

Joy and The Children's All Day School gave my daughter Wallis Johnson Bowyer and me the ability to start our new lives in New York 37 years ago. We will be forever grateful for Joy's forward thinking and welcoming spirit. Our condolences to her family and friends. Tracy Isham

Children's All Day School was a life saver for a working mom 37 years ago. Fond memories remain. My condolences to the family. Joy was a lovely woman and I have fond memories of her to this day.
